‘Ain Ni Ain’Started as a research project into the Moluccan community in Helmond, and how they fight against the decay of culture within the city.

It evolved into a way for me to connect with my family members and heritage through conversation and making, utilizing the art and ritual of ‘Yene’ sculptures as a way of bonding, housing the spirit of the conversation inside these sculptures.
